Redeem a gift code in the game

Open the main menu

On PC, the community instructions use Esc. On another platform, use the menu control shown by your game rather than looking for a keyboard key.

Choose the gear icon, then Account

Scroll to the Account section of Settings and select Gift Code Redemption. The two narrated tutorials use this same menu path.

Enter one code exactly as supplied

Paste or type the complete code. Check uppercase and lowercase letters, and remove an accidental space before or after it.

Read the redemption result

Let the game respond before submitting another code. A success message is the point to move on to collection; repeated submissions won't create an extra reward.

Open your mailbox and claim the mail

The reward arrives through mail in the demonstrated workflow. Look for the code's reward message and claim it rather than expecting every item to appear in your inventory immediately.

Accepted code, empty inventory?

The most useful detail in the Steam discussion isn't the code list. It's a player asking why nothing appeared in their inventory after redemption. The reply points them to the mailbox and explains that the mail feature opens as you progress through the story. If you started exploring before finishing the early tutorial, continue the story and check the menu again.

That gives you two separate things to confirm: the game accepted the code, and you claimed the resulting mail. Don't treat an empty inventory on its own as proof that the code failed. If the mailbox is available, read the reward message and compare the contents before retrying the same code.
