Quick Guide
  • The September 23 version 1.1 notice lists Student I for Windchaser’s Departure. Crafting Legendary Aniipod: Irisalis opens its Rift Space; players report a 99-petal cost, which the official notice does not specify.
  • Official Irisalis is Grass DPS with Fly Lv.3. Its clone attacks build Dance Power, and nine points reduce the next skill's EP cost by 50%.

Petals, Aniipod, then the right encounter

The September 23 version 1.1 announcement calls the Irisalis journey Windchaser’s Departure and lists Student I as its entry requirement. Crafting Legendary Aniipod: Irisalis unlocks the Rift Space where the creature resides; befriending it then unlocks Transmog. Use that dedicated route when it is available in your client, rather than treating the main-story fight as a repeatable catch.

Irisalis has three separate things to keep straight: the petal route that earns its special Aniipod, the event encounter where you actually catch it, and the cosmetic rerolls afterward. Defeating the story boss isn't the same as completing the capture encounter. Already crafted the Aniipod? Start by checking the event entry instead of repeating the story fight.

Player discussions report a 99-petal cost for the dedicated Aniipod. The official version 1.1 notice confirms crafting it with Iris Petals but does not give the number. Check the cost in your event screen before spending; keep the capture item separate from cosmetic purchases.

Open the event’s acquisition list

Use the in-game How to Obtain list to see which petal rewards you haven't claimed. Creator examples include story progress, regional travel objectives, Alpha first clears, Branch progress and silver badges.

Collect the special Aniipod

Once you meet the requirement shown in the event screen, obtain the Aniipod intended for Irisalis. Keep this separate from cosmetic purchases.

Start the capture encounter from the event UI

Players point to the event button next to the Aniipod purchase. The main-story encounter and the capture encounter are different.

Complete that encounter and use the offered capture interaction

Players describe a final soothe/capture interaction with the special Aniipod. Follow that encounter's objective rather than treating the post-story flower and nearby side quests as the capture route.

Where to look for missing petals

Reported petal sources to check
SourceUseful next check
Main story and regional travelFinish the objectives still listed in the event collection guide.
First Alpha clearsCheck the reward preview before repeating a fight.
Branch progression and silver badgesClaim eligible progress rewards rather than assuming they arrive automatically.
World collectiblesUse the in-game collection guide and a visual route for the missing pickup.
Event or shop rewardsRead the current cost, refresh limit and availability before spending currency.

RIFAS's route covers eight world petals and says one barrier requires story progress. Its spoken directions mostly say 'here' and 'this area,' so the video is a visual route companion, not a text-only coordinate list. If a pickup is behind a barrier, progress the listed story objective before trying to force a movement shortcut.

Check the current event screen for shop quantities, weekly limits and remaining time. The September guides describe the launch event; they don't establish which side activities or offers are available now.

Irisalis fights through its clones

The official Prismana entry lists Irisalis as Grass DPS with an attribute total of 540: HP 90, BREAK 56, ATK 130, M.DEF 78, P.DEF 78 and REGEN 108. Fly Lv.3 gives it an exploration use alongside the combat kit.

The clone loop
AbilityWhat it doesWhat to remember
Irisalis ShadowA successful Iris Shot summons a clone for 30 secondsCasting again resets that skill’s clones; it is not an endless stacking button.
Florae DescentArea damage plus a 30-second cloneThis clone can coexist with the one from Irisalis Shadow; recasting resets its clone.
Whirling Blossom RainDirectional dash with homing bolts and clone beam activationExisting clones are part of the damage window.
Bloom ClusterClone hits build Dance Power; nine points halve the next skill’s EP costCreate and activate clones before expecting the cost reduction.

Bloom Cluster also activates clone beams when the final basic-attack hit lands. That gives your normal attack sequence a job between skill uses. If you're cutting the sequence short every time, you're missing one of the documented triggers for the clones.

The trait includes a flower-form recovery when Irisalis faints, with a 180-second trigger interval. That is a safety effect with a limit, not permission to ignore enemy attacks or a claim that the whole party revives.

Cosmetic rerolls come after the catch

The appearance discussion is about transmogrification: players show different colors, wings and headpieces and report getting combinations with earned currency. That doesn't mean the base catch and every cosmetic option have the same cost or unlock requirement.

Players direct you to Irisalis in Aniimo Storage and its transmogrify option. Save an appearance you like before continuing to reroll, and read the currency prompt carefully before locking a part. The discussion warns that locking parts changes what currency you can use and can increase the paid cost.

Separate those appearance decisions from the combat loop. Learn to keep the two documented clone sources working together, then decide how much you want to spend on looks. The player photos aren't a guarantee that your next roll will produce the same combination.

If you have 99 petals but no Irisalis

The clearest reported mistake is entering the wrong fight. One player had made the Aniipod, defeated the story encounter and started looking at the surrounding side quests. Replies redirected them to the rift entered from the event window, and the poster acknowledged that was the missing step.

Check the event entry, the dedicated Aniipod and the encounter objective in that order. The table above records the announced schedule, not a test of today's client availability. If your event panel differs, follow its current requirements; the announcement does not establish a future return schedule.
