Quick Guide
  • Build around the resources your next RV upgrade and current orders need. A worker shortage, missing ingredient or hauling delay often matters more than how many buildings you can place.
  • Use Manage to compare workers at the actual facility. Ability level, personality, family restrictions and existing assignments all affect who is useful.

What Homeland is good for

Homeland is Aniimo's farming, crafting and housing space. It can support RV progression, produce goods for orders, provide collection rewards and give your eggs a place to hatch. You can also decorate, visit friends and send creatures on expeditions. If you only want to explore and fight, start with a small working base rather than turning every login into a factory inspection.

A useful starting priority is to keep the next upgrade's material supply running, make enough food for the workers, then expand a saleable production chain. Decoration can wait until that loop works—or come first if that's the reason you enjoy Homeland. A pretty base and an efficient base can share the same space, but they need different spending priorities.

Match the job before choosing the creature

Open the Aniimo management panel and look at ability distribution. MysticKorea's guide explains the display as green for covered needs, black for shortages and gray for abilities you don't currently need. That is a better starting point than filling the farm with your strongest combat team. A high combat level doesn't tell you whether the creature can run the facility you just built.

Treat that table as a shopping list for roles, not a requirement to own every named creature. Read the ability levels on the form you actually caught. Forms in the same family can have different work profiles, and your best available worker for one station may already be covering an equally important job elsewhere.

Assign workers without breaking another line

Open Manage and the details view

Select the facility you want to fix, then open its Manage tab. Compare the eligible creatures and the efficiency shown for this building.

Check the busy indicator

A hammer means the creature already has a job. Assigning it here moves it away from that job, so check what you are interrupting.

Check the recipe inputs

An eligible worker cannot make an item when the ingredients are missing. In the guide, that produces a hiatus state rather than useful work.

Watch the handoff

If a well or mine has finished goods waiting, check Hauling before adding another producer. A production line includes the trip to storage.

Don't panic when the same creature shows a lower efficiency percentage after a building upgrade. MysticKorea demonstrates that the percentage is relative to the facility's level and requirements. Compare workers within that station instead of treating an older screenshot's percentage as the creature's permanent rating. Also recheck assignments after a line finishes; the RV8 discussion describes workers moving to other work once their original task stops.

Choose a complete production chain

The RV13 layout video is useful because it shows the awkward part of a farm: machines share ingredients and recipes. Ginseng and chestnut cakes need their intermediate products, while a mill may also be needed for a different order. Planting plenty of ginseng won't solve a shortage of ginseng powder if the mill is busy elsewhere.

Orders ask for goods you rarely makeKeep a small reserve or temporarily switch a line instead of rebuilding everything.

OPiest's layout switches away from a grape-and-lemon line when its water demand becomes awkward. The lesson is to choose a recipe your own wells, workers and processors can sustain. A higher sale price isn't much help if the final machine spends the whole night waiting for water. Run a small chain, see which input empties first, then expand that part.

Make the layout serve the workers

Group crops and trees close enough that flexible workers aren't constantly crossing the farm. Keep storage near the production area. When temperature-sensitive crops arrive, use the management view to inspect heater and cooler coverage and the crop's required conditions. Leave room to move those facilities when you change what you grow, rather than locking every plot into a decorative grid.

Keep worker food and rest in the routine too. Legacy Gaming recommends producing food rather than repeatedly buying it, and placing relaxation furniture near the work area. Check worker condition when returning after a long absence: an exhausted creature in the service area needs attention, not another production order. Exact food duration and output depend on the setup, so use the live supply display.

Leave space for the systems around production

Orders can supply useful currencies and materials, but don't hand over the last ingredient needed for an imminent RV upgrade without comparing the rewards. Keep an eye on Home Index progress and unclaimed rewards as you discover and build things. Housing introduces another choice: creatures placed there can generate Bud Tickets, but share the active-creature limit with production. Keep enough workers on the farm before moving everyone into the house.

Finally, give the social side a try. Visit friends, help their plots and pet eggs when available. Homeland players also use expeditions and hatcheries, so the base offers more than a coin farm. For the next check-in, look for one blocked recipe, one neglected reward and one worker doing the wrong job. Fixing those is usually more useful than copying somebody else's entire endgame layout.
