Quick Guide
  • Basic Ignitis is Dark DPS; Highland and Prismana are Fire/Dark DPS. All three official entries list Fly Lv.2, Cloak and an attribute total of 505.
  • Battle Fervor gains up to two damage-buff stacks after defeating targets. Dark Soul rewards finishing a weakened enemy with a time-limited free recast.

Play around the finish

Ignitis rewards finishing targets. Battle Fervor adds damage after a defeat, and Dark Soul can earn a short-lived free recast when it lands the killing blow. Against a group, look for a weakened target you can finish, then move on while the buff is still active.

Battle Fervor gives a Battlelust stack after defeating a target: +25% damage for 20 seconds, stacking up to twice. A fight with enemies you can finish offers a different opportunity from a lone healthy boss. Don't count on a kill-triggered buff being active at the start of every encounter.

Dark Soul teleports to the target and attacks. Its description adds damage against targets below 50% HP and gives a time-limited free recast on a kill. That makes target selection matter: spending it on a nearly finished enemy can set up another use, while casting into a healthy target won't give you the same finish-based payoff.

Check the form before choosing a route

HighlandFire / DarkZephyrus Landbridge; BlitzwoodFly Lv.2; Cloak
PrismanaFire / DarkBerylline CausewayFly Lv.2; Cloak

All three entries share HP 90, BREAK 52, ATK 125, M.DEF 70, P.DEF 77 and REGEN 91, totaling 505. The Fire element distinguishes Highland and Prismana from Basic, but the numbers here don't show a higher attribute total for either of those forms.

Use those habitats to choose a region to investigate. They don't establish a particular rooftop, a guaranteed spawn time or a weather requirement. The Highland catch route still needs an exact location and condition check before this can become a turn-by-turn walkthrough.

The form selector also lists Forest. Its full comparison isn't included here, so a Forest label shouldn't be folded into the Highland or Prismana entry just because the creature shares a name.

Choose between an attack window and a finisher

Documented Ignitis tools
SkillEffect to build around
Dark SoulExtra payoff on a target below half HP and a free recast when it defeats the target.
Dark DashAfter the tackle, basic attack damage rises by 40% for 10 seconds.
Fire DashFlaming tackle followed by 5 seconds of Super Armor.
Scythe DanceThree nearby Dark hits; each hit grants +4% damage, up to 32%, for 10 seconds.
Dimension RuptureA heavy physical-damage attack in the Prismana entry.

Dark Dash points toward a basic-attack window: use the buff, then spend time attacking. Dark Soul points toward picking off a weakened target. Neither description proves a fixed best rotation for every enemy, and the move you select needs to fit the role you're giving Ignitis.

Scythe Dance's buff depends on hits, so connect with the target before expecting the full effect. Its cap is 32%; three hits in the description aren't proof that one cast always reaches the cap. The number of targets hit and the current skill behavior need to be checked in the encounter.

Confirm your equipped skill list and form before following a clip. Treat these as move references, then choose from the attacks your own form can actually equip.

What the Dark team discussion actually suggests

The Ignitis team thread starts with a proposal built around basic-attack boosts and Dark debuffs, despite leaving out a dedicated breaker. A reply suggests Ignitis, Inferlupa, Hexxin and Fragrancier as a basic-attack-oriented Dark team.

The useful part is the follow-up: after trying that team, the same commenter says they're unsure about it and considers Turbo for a more skill-focused approach, with Ignitis's finisher replacing the basic-attack dash. That is an experiment in progress, not a settled recommendation.

Use the thread to decide what you want to test. If Ignitis is staying on field for attacks, Dark Dash gives that plan a documented buff. If you mainly bring it in to finish targets, prioritize whether the rest of the lineup creates those openings. Keep your break plan in view rather than filling every slot with another damage bonus.

Fly and Cloak give it another job

The official entries give Ignitis Fly Lv.2 and a Cloak mobility action. That makes it worth checking for an exploration slot even when another companion handles your main combat damage. The official Cloak description only says that it enters the state; it doesn't establish a catch-chance bonus, duration or universal stealth immunity.

For a first copy, identify the form and region you want. For a combat copy, decide whether you're building around attack windows or finishes. Those two decisions are more useful than assuming the rare-looking form automatically comes with a stronger tested build.
